Friday funny...

I leave my good shoes at work so I don't carry them back and forth as I prefer to wear my sneakers. I walk much faster in them than in my dress shoes. Anyways. I got to work and took off my sneakers and was reaching under my desk for my black dress shoes with my feet. My lawyer started giving me work and then an hour later I got up from my desk. I'm walking down the hall and I stop. Something is weird. I look down and I have one flat dress shoe on with one that has a heel. And o'course I thought this was pretty stupid funny and I had to tell everyone....I'm a goober some days.

Update!

My dress for the lover's masquerade is completed. It has some problems but overall looks very sexy. My mask is also complete. I was quite angry with myself last night though because I made the mask in the style of a ying yang and I didn't take into consideration that the mask fits my face. That means that the ying yang kinda folds in half...sorta....it's hard to explain. Myluc said I should undo the sides of the ying yang so it didn't fold to my face but kinda stayed flat. It worked but then I had to cover the mask under the ying yang. And then I noticed that my eyeholes are totally out of whack. I cried. I was very upset for a few minutes. I wanted it to be perfect.

"It's not. I'm not. Deal with it. It's going to be dark. Noone is going to be totally criticizing everything...well not everyone...calm down." My mantra. It worked.

I'm back to being excited that I have a dress that I only had a little help with ... I finished most of it all by myself. I have a mask that I created all by myself with a little cosmetic help from Myluc. I have good friends coming over before the masquerade to chill with and to help me with my hair and makeup. I'm going to look good and it's going to show. No time for being a shy wall flower when I'm wearing a dress that's slit in a v below my bellybutton showing off the new bellybutton ring and o'course my new sexy bra and well...I'm going to look good, I'm going to feel good, I'm hanging with friends before and after and well..it's all gonna be good.
