My girl Linds she's going through hoops n' loops n' emotions at a high speed but she always seems to remain on stable ground while the world around her spins n' twists. I am glad to be one of the friends that friends think of and that I can fit into the "calm in the storm" or the "calm in the midst of the chaos" definition...is that right...I think so....it sounds good to me. *HUGE HUGS* I'm there for you my girl and know that whenever I sign on to gmail for you I get tone one of those songs that stick stuck in my head.

My girlygirl is having trouble with a long distance relationship...I mean looooooooong and she really wants to have him home and not just talk to him on the landline. It's tought but hopefully she knows I'm there for her.

Borrowed from GSD :

Although the name Melissa creates the urge to be reliable and responsible, we emphasize that it can cause a superior, interfering expression whose favorite expression is "I know" when not combined with a balanced last name. This name, when not combined with a balanced last name, can also frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses through worry and mental tension.

*Let's hope MyLuc's last name is one of balance ... although that is the symbol I had engraved on his ring - Balance
**Worry...me...naaah

Your name of Melissa gives you a clever mind, good business judgment, a sense of responsibility, and an appreciation of the finer things of life. You are serious-minded and not inclined to make light of things even in little ways, and in your younger years you had more mature interests than others your age. Home and family mean a great deal to you and it is natural that you should desire the security of a peaceful, settled home environment where you can enjoy the companionship of family and friends. Whatever you set out to accomplish you do your very best to complete in accordance with what you consider to be right.

* Business judgement - Great...NOT...although maybe that is why I was asked to balance the accounts for Eisenmarche.

Here's a quick blurb - well, I hope it isn't too long. I'll go from most recent n'o'course be sporadic.

My TNT (Team in Training) bracelets came in. I am going to sell them for $5. I have also been in touch with a local hot spot to host a fundraiser and I'm trying to get some businesses to donate for a silent auction. So far my training is going awesome, my fundraising so-so. But I'm trying.

MyLuc and I went windsurfing (Windsure) and I'll be the first to admit that I spent more time in the water than on the board but it was awesome. $50 for a 2 hour into lesson. The first hour for board work on land and wind knowledge and the second in the water on the board. I got "boomed" on the head so many times the instructor Dominique (nummy for a little guy 5" maybe") came over to check my pupils for a concussion. MyLuc took off and loved it although he said that getting the salt water outta his beard and hair was gross. And the highlite...telling Matty (the guy in the shop) that I needed a big wetsuit and getting the full body look n' him saying Naaaah you're just the right size. It was awesome. I wanted to give him a great big hug but that was until I had to shimmy n' squeeze into the wetsuit. Have you ever worn one? It's an adventure.

MyLuc and I attended a wedding of a family friend's son *shrug* I don't know the whole connection actually only that it was when MyLuc was a little'un. It was nice. Outside on the grass, short vows n' tears from both the bride and groom. The bride wore a simple A-line gown with beading on the bodice. If'n I can ever get the pics from MyLuc's computer I'll post some from their first dance as husband n' wife. It was awesome.

MyLuc's ring finally came in. I am going to hold onto it tho' and ask him again if he will marry me. This time I'll do it on his birthday n' then he can't remember the day. Although is the engagement day a day to remember? I mean, I remember our first date day April 6 although to MyLuc it's April 7 and his birthday which is Sept. 8 and some of his family members bdays (although that's cuz they correspond with bdays in my family) but is the engagement day a day to remember?

I talked with my Mom n' she said that Sprout (my little bro) was going to call me cuz he misses me. Surprised me cuz he disowned me last year on my bday for being selfish n' all. *sigh* If'n he wants to put the past behind that's okay. I mean we can't dwell and although my heart still kinda hurts for the mean words he spoke (wrote)...I can forgive...it'll just take a bit.

Haven't heard from Stretch (my other little bro) is a long while. When MyLuc n' I were in Trail Stretch showed up on the Friday and then Saturday lost his wallet with all of his money in it and had to leave cuz he had no id or rent money or nothin' n' had to get back to Creston n' get it fixed. Haven't heard from him since so I'm a little worried. But I'm the big sister that's my job.

Totally excited about September.

Friday I am going to listen to Toot-a-Lute - a medieaval folk group..members of which are my exes (is that the right spelling?). Saturday night, some of you may shake your head, I am going to BSB (and for those of you who don't know, that's okay). Sunday I have a training day 10km from 8am til I finish. Now I just walked 10km with MyLuc's mom and it took me 1.5 h. We'll see how long it takes me when I have the trainer with me. I know the first thing she'll say is Melissa you need to look at proper shoes cuz those cross trainers just don't work but then my response will be if you can afford to buy them I'll take them cuz if not you'll have to wait for payday. And then Monday will be recuperating. Although MyLuc wants to go windsurfing again and check out kitesurfing. We'll see.

And we'll see where Tuesday and the rest of September bring me. Cheers! to adventure!

*HUGE HUGS*
