Quote of the day: Don't ever take a fence down until you know why it was put up. ~ Robert Frost

Goodness....Monday morning and back to the grind. Why is it that the weekend always zooms by when you're having a good time?

I mean. If you are just doing home stuff, laundry, house cleaning, watching movies, maybe going shopping, and you hit Sunday you thank god that the week is here cuz you get to be busy. I donno. Prolly just me.

Last week was horrible. I almost worked 8 hours overtime and was warned that this week will prolly be the same or more. Not fun!

Friday I told my lawyer that I didn't want to work overtime even though he had asked me too because he hadn't yet decided what he wanted me to do at 345. I leave at 4.

So I left at 4 and waited til almost 430 for a bus to Port Moody. I was heading out to my gf Jules place to enjoy the companionship of her, her husband J and o'course her 6 yr old Jaderator. The bus ride was a little long but I finished the book I was reading and started the second one. I always carry 2-3 books with me cuz I read 2-3 books a day. Can't help it. And then o'course if they're really good I can read more.

So I got to Port Moody and knocked on the door and walked in. Made myself at home, duck slippers n'all and took the DVD's that I had brought, put them by the TV and took my usual position...in a kitchen chair on the outside of the kitchen so I could watch Jules putter around. She was doing the dishes and checking the pot roast, general cleaning.

We ended up making caramel popcorn Saturday night and then chowing down on it. I must say that I make awesome caramel popcorn and it's all due to a cookbook that my Granny gave me that she had bought from the Anglican Ladies Church Group.

All in all a very enjoyable weekend spent at Jules, with her, J and Jaderater. Even if he's growing up and now calls me Polissa instead of Anti Polissa. *shrug* Kids....what can ya say

*HUGE HUGS*
