Sooo....

Last night I zoomed outta here at 430 cuz MyLuc said his reservations were for 6. It takes me an hour to get home so I was a little panicked. I made it by 545 and MyLuc said...no the reservations are for 7. *sigh* We had time to fill up my little Ipod Nano. After filling out all the computer id stuff we proceeded to download and then had an option for the Itunes to pick Melissa's Tunes. We chose it to see what it'd do. It was really cool and weird. All of the Elvis songs got picked (and you know I love Elvis) and the Corrs and Kenny Wayne Sheppard. I wasn't too keen on the Weird Al but what can you do.

We went to the Bavarian Haas for dinner. Very cozy homey atmosphere with the most amazing selection of schnitzel (breaded flattened pork) that I have ever seen. I ordered a 1/2 ltr of Witzen something. It rocked. Even MyLuc had some and then a pint of Weisen something. MyLuc started with onion soup and said try something new - so I had scallops, shrimp, cheese and mashed potato baked in a small dish. It was interesting. For dinner I had schnitzel stuffed with black forest ham and swiss cheese, topped with sauteed mushrooms and bearnaise sauce. MyLuc had schnitzel topped with asparagus, crab meat and bearnaise sauce. It smelled awesome and the portion was huge. Neither of us finished but we had room for dessert. We shared a caramel creme brulee and actually left a smallish portion. See MyLuc has this thing about always taking the "last" thing. So I left this for him. He didn't want it and neither did I. Weird people aren't we.

Walking home was awesome. We worked off our dinner to sit on our butts and watch an episode of Killer Minds. I love Mandy Patinkin. He rocks!

This morning I loaded up my fully charged and song filled Ipod Nano and off to work I went. It is too cool. It's so light that I'm not feeling like I'm loaded down. I had it on shuffle but for some reason it really really liked the Corrs, which lasted until I walked into work this morning.

There are actually absolutely no plans this weekend which means I can do all the laundry and an apartment clean. Whoopee! (NOT) *fingers crossed* that the weather is good. I've been heading out with my digital camera taking pictures and some of them are quite good surprising me.
